Las Vegas is one of the most exciting towns on earth, and our staff has spent a lot of time there during the past few years.  Here are our top 11 things to do:

  1.  Pole Position Raceway - Check out indoor kart racing at this fantastic chain of indoor kart tracks.  Pole Position Raceway has two locations in Las Vegas, and their high-performance electric karts are capable of speeds up to 45mph.  Up to 13 drivers compete in side-by-side action on a giant ¼-mile road course.  For more information check out www.PolePositionRaceway.com.
  2.  Sky Combat Ace - Based out of Henderson Executive airport, which is about 10 miles south of the Strip, adventure seekers can take control of their own real airplane with no experience necessary.  Packages start at $199. For more information check out www.SkyCombatAce.com
  3.   Cirque du Soleil – This famous company puts on a wide variety of shows in Las Vegas that are truly world class.  Our favorites are Mystere, O, KA and The Beatles Love.  For more information check out www.Cirquedusoliel.com and tell them that Fixate Rings sent you!
  4.  Exotics Racing – Have you ever wanted to drive a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, or Audi R around a racetrack?  Well check out ExoticsRacing.com which runs a top-notch operation at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  They are open seven days a week and offer an experience that you will never forget.  For more info visit www.exoticsracing.com
  5.  Giada’s – Our favorite dining experience is at Giada’s, which is in the trendy Cromwell boutique hotel located at the center of the Strip.  The famous TV show host offers amazing Italian food with the philosophy that she wants everyone to have a little of everything, but not a lot of anything.  Check out www.giadadelaurentiis.com/vegas/ to see their menu.
  6.  Texas Holdem – Vegas hosts the World Series of Poker every year at the famed Rio hotel in November.  Given the popularity of this sport, if you are in Vegas, it’s worth playing a few hands in a poker room on the strip just to check if off your bucket list.
  7.  Golf at Shadow Creek – Las Vegas is actually home to one of the nicest golf courses in the nation and also one of the most exclusive and expensive.  Michael Jordon hosts an annual invitational here, and players receive a world class experience.  Their site explains more details at www.ShadowCreek.com.
  8.  Maverick Helicopter Tour of Strip – Tour the strip or the Grand Canyon in a state-of-the-art helicopter.  This is a must. Check out www.MaverickHelicopter.com
  9.  New Year’s Eve Fireworks – Truly an amazing experience, the strip comes to life every New Years with a multi-million-dollar fireworks show that must be added to your bucket list.
  10.  High Roller Ferris Wheel – One of the best views in Las Vegas is from the 550-foot-tall High Roller.  It’s moderately priced at about $30 dollars and the ride lasts approximately 20 minutes.  For more info check out https://www.caesars.com/linq/high-roller
  11.    Lake Mead – During summertime, this man-made lake turns into a watersports mecca. It’s located approximately 45 miles east of town, and hosts a wide array of tourist activities.
