3-TIME AMA Supercross Champion / 3-TIME AMA National MX Champion / TORC Off-Road Truck Champion / TV Commentator / Co-Founder of Fixate
Ricky Johnson is one of the greatest American off-road racers of all-time. He has won three AMA Supercross Championships, three AMA National Motocross titles, and has led Team USA to victory in the prestigious Motocross des Nations that earned him an invitation to the White House to meet President Reagan. RJ has also been inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame and has won races around the world. It was during his time as a motorcycle racer that Johnson became the poster boy for an upstart sunglass company called Oakley and an apparel company called Fox. Both are now mainstream brands and in malls around the world. It’s why we are really proud to call Ricky Johnson one of the co-founders of Fixate. After motorcycling, Johnson switched to truck racing and won the TORC Pro 2 championship in 2010 and the TORC Pro 4 titles in 2011 and 2012. Most recently, the southern California native won the Frozen Rush driving for energy drink giant Red Bull on the ski slopes in Maine. Johnson also has two top 10 finishes in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. If that is not enough, he was teammates with a off-road racer named Jimmie Johnson and then introduced him to NASCAR where he won six championships. Now days, Johnson, a father of three, is an off-road instructor for several branches of the military, and has taught everyone from Navy Seals to the U.S. Amry’s elite Delta Force. RJ is also a television commentator focusing on the world of motorsports.
