Athlete / Racer / Business Executive
Almost everything in Greg Lasiewski’s personal and business life revolves around athletics and competition. Greg was born and raised Southern Californian and was first introduced into motorcycling in his early teens. He spent several years racing most of the (now long-gone) Southern California motocross tracks and experienced competition from the 125cc beginner class through 500cc pro ranks. Albeit a short career, this experience had a positive effect on his life and shaped him to be the responsible and dedicated man he is today. Greg is currently a 21-year employee of Kawasaki Motors Corp., U. S. A. and has progressed upward through the organization, working nearly eight years in Team Green and nine years in the Public Relations department. He is currently responsible for partnerships and sponsorships on a national level and for Kawasaki’s owners club, ROK (Riders of Kawasaki). Prior to his employment at Kawasaki, Greg earned an AS Degree in Fire Science as well as his Firefighter I certificate from the Santa Ana Fire Academy. He later went back to full-time night school while still employed fill-time at Kawasaki to earn is Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Greg is a diehard motorsports nut and has operated everything Kawasaki over his career. Whether it be motocross, cruiser, sportbike, side x side, ATV or Jet Ski, he’s spent the majority of his adulthood operating motorsports products. He has recently found a new passion for cycling and spends a great deal of his time riding road bikes and riding and racing mountain bikes.
